Originally founded by E. Chester Nelson in 1919, Guest Reddick has evolved with a unique tradition of leadership transition through its history.  In 2007, the mantle of leadership was passed from Gordon Guest to James Reddick, who became president of the firm. Although Gordon has reduced his work week in anticipation of future retirement, he continues to work and serves the firm as an advisor through the role of Chairman of the Board.  Although the name of the firm has changed throughout the years, it remains a full service practice with professionals skilled in planning, programming, architectural design, production and interior design.

Guest Reddick attributes much of its success to a continuing commitment to producing functional, well-crafted buildings and spaces by placing equal emphasis on programming, design development, construction documents and construction administration. We are commited to designing sustainable buildings that operate efficiently and provide a healthy environment for it's occupants.  We pride ourselves on our ability to lead clients through the difficult process of design and construction by providing a systematic sequence for making physical planning decisions, resulting in a high level of design excellence.

Guest Reddick is committed to using the latest technology as tools to better serve our clients.  We have adopted Building Information Modeling (BIM) as the new standard to produce project documents.  BIM enables us to produce more accurate and better coordinated drawings faster.

All of Guest Reddick's projects are assigned a project team of design and production staff under the leadership of a senior architect. Involvement of our senior leadership along with the teams' engineers, consultants and cost estimators throughout the design and planning process assures that technical and aesthetic requirements can be blended into a creative solution.
